Hey family!
This week has been really busy trying to visit as many people as we can. Things are really starting to warm up down here and I am starting to be able to feel the humidity more and more. The other day we got in the car and it said 107! Crazy! but then it just goes down to 95 so its not too bad. Still hot. Its just gross because you never feel dry completely. My face is super soft though :) thats nice. So one thing I really liked that I found in the Book of Mormon this week was that Obediance precedes revelation. I always knew that I guess in a round about way but it never clicked and as I was reading about nephi and his experiences it makes so much sense. Nephi was able to recieve revelation about his fathers dream, building the ship, finding how to obtain the gold plates etc. Each time he was willingly obediant to what the lord wanted him to do and because of that the lord was able to give him revelation what to do! Cool eh? Another thing I learned is how faith opperates by love. I am really loving reading the Book of Mormon and just being able to find such simple truths in the lives of the prophets and then look at my own life and see the contrast. I know its not good to compare ourselves to others but this is a different comparision. When I look at it I look at the characteristics and attributes that they either had or developed and then think of what I need to do to become like that. Ultimatley everything comes from our savior but knowing that the prophets were just ordinary men like me but understood these principles helps me to become more like that because I know I can be like that it I really try hard. Other cool news is we are having a big soccer game this saturday.  haha its going to be super funny because all the hispanics will just dominate and luckily we get to be on that team :) haha there has been some heavy winds lately and alot of trees have been breaking in half in random spots. We have seen come miracles like how one huge tree branch that overhung over one of the members trailer broke like in an impossible way that it never touched the trailer! Crazy! So pray that we will be protected because hilary said its like the perfect climate for tornadoes and there has been some crazy tornadoes around like in alabama and stuff. I will be protected though.

Hey Family!
This week has been really great! My comp and I are staying together for another transfer which I am really excited about! We are switching apartments though which is nice. The other was super gross. This transfer has started out great though. With the challenge from reading the BOM I have already experienced lots of blessings! I feel so much happier for one, and also I am learning how amazing NEPHI is! He is seriously the coolest man ever. His example of Faith, Obediance and Diligence are so intense! Throughout the whole time he is writing he never ever complains once. The closest he gets is like well I have had some hard afflictions in the course of my days, nevertheless  have been highly favored of the Lord. What a boss. That was a super great example to me that when we are having trials and hardships the lord is helping us grow! Iam pretty sure it said somewhere in the 1 Nephi that those who are obediant and faithful are more favorable in the eyes of the lord. That really helps me try to be so much better out here. Also in mormon docertine I was reading under faith and how is said more obediance brings greater faith. What a great excuse to live the commandments. If we want crazy faith like Nephi just be obediant. How simple is the gospel! I love it! Anyways we have been inviting famillies we are teaching to read it with us and this one kid who is like 9 or 10 is like yeah I will do it!  He started right there. He is a way good kid and just retains so much when he reads. I thought that was cool. Other than that this week has been sweet. Its starting to get super hot. The humidity is coming and yesterday it was 94 so it was pretty nice. When we get in our car the thermometer says its like 104 well thats the highest we have seen it so far then it drops slowly and levels out to like 90-94. So I am getting a nice tan and silky smooth skin. Did I mention I can grow a beard? kidding. well kinda? I have to shave ever other day to look like a missionary. I am becoming a man. :|
Love ya!

Wow so huge news this week. We had to go to a hotel as you know just cause our pench was getting painted because we were going to get some other hermanas. The plan was that. So our lunch apt. got cancelled and so because we were in a hotel we didnt have food so we went out to eat and we are in this place and the phone says we have a missed call from President...So we were like okay! So called him and he is like HEY how are you Hermana Anderson! I was like great President how are you? So after making sure we were okay in the hotel and all taken care of he says sooo are you sitting down? I was like yeah? So he is like good! So how would you feel if I called you to train! I was like WHAT!!! PRESIDENT!! He starts laughing because he knows I am terrified to train! So he said okay so here is what I am thinking. One of the Hermanas broke her ankle and so she is going home. She didnt have much time left anyways so its all good. So we are short an Hermana and so he is sending a new gringa here and Hermana Gutierrez and me are both training her! I was like okay we can do that! He was like how do you feel to be training in your 4th transfer! I was like uhhhhh a little freaked out! haha. He was like well you can brag about it! I would I have learned to use what you can on the mission! I was like okay! hahahaha. But really I am nervous for this new advendture! So yes Hermana Gutierrez and I will be together for ANOTHER transfer!! Thats 3!! I cant believe it! She cant either! But we are both excited to be together again! haha. Our one investigator isnt getting baptized now the girl. Her dad came and said she cant and that she cant come to church anymore! We were really bummed but we know we did all we could.  I did divisions this week for the first time with a member and it was hard! I spoke lots though and started the lessons and surprised myself to see how much I have come! I was able to teach and to be a missionary! It was really cool! I am excited to do more especially now that we are going to be a trio! So we have to go to Mendoza on Wednesday morning to pick up our new companion! We are really excited! I have been thinking a lot about my first days in the mission and how overwhelmed I was and I just really want this new Hermana to feel at home and to love the work! I was thinking too how I was the newby only 3 transfers ago!!!! What the heck!! haha. Time really flies!
So I really like the BOM challenge from Scott´s mission president and I think I will try it after my challenge is done. I seriously love the Book of Mormon and LOOOOOVE IT! I think its funny that Scott wrote home about obedience increasing our faith because that is something I learned this week as well. We had a great district meeting and our district leader taught us about that and shared with us 2 Nephi 1:21 on I think and chapter 4 verse 17. I love Nephi and he obedience and his incredible faith. I was actually reading in Ether not to long ago and I was thinking about how the brother of Jared had so much faith. Enough to move a mountain. Enough to see Jesus Christ! I was thinking about how I can gain that kind of faith and what I need to do. I love the simpleness of the answer! OBEDIENCE!! Its so simple! I love that the mission provides a great opporunity for us to be obedient on a higher level than at home! I love that quote in Preach My Gospel that says ¨(When Obedience ceases to be an irritant and becomes a quest....I cant remember the last part but I am just going to make it up.....we see miracles not only in the lives of those around us but it ours as well!) How awesome!! That is my goal. Is to become more obedient! Back to my thoughts about the Brother of Jared.....he showed that perfect obedience! The Lord told him to go and find a way for him to light the barges and so he went and did exactly that! He prepared himself and brought his plan to the Lord and (in my own words) just told him. Lord I have done my part and now I know that you can light these stones for me. All is possible and because I have done all that you have asked I am going to pull down a miracle! I love that so much! We need to have that kind of obedience so that we can go to the Lord and say Lord I have done my part I am here to pull down a miracle! I have definitely seen that and I am excited to see more miracles in my mission as I become a more qualified servant of God and I know that this opporunitiy to train will help me become a better person and a better missionary. Pray for me I will need all the help I can get! I love you all and hope that some of my learning experiences can help you all on your quest to perfection. Its never easy but its always worth it!

This week has had its ups and downs....So this week we have really been trying to work with our investigators and get them progressing. She is progressing well and she just needs her interview now but we have to talk to her dad. She is like 11 and lives with her grandpa. So we really hope her dad says yes. She is so ready. We think we might have to drop another guy....so sad...we think he has been lying to us about a lot of stuff. The lady we teach lives like 2 house from him and she and her friend milagros told us that he told them he doesnt believe in God and that he is just investigating and that he hasnt quit smoking. We don´t understand because he passed his baptismal interview!!!! What the heck!! We were really mad but we are okay now. Whatever happens happens. She is great we went to get her for church on Sunday and she was sleeping so her grandpa told us to go wake her up so we did and then she got ready and we went to church. As we were walking she was like guess what? I was praying last night and I just had the most beautiful feeling inside me and I felt really good! We were like YES!!!!!!! She is 11 years old!! I love how the children just have such pure faith. You can see why God calls those who have the hearts of children. They are willing and ready for the work. So we also got to talk to the Familia ..... and we talked to the mom about setting a fetcha. She said she had no problem but she really does have a problem. We set a date for this saturday and really hope the two kids can get baptized....if not...hopefully next transfer. So this is the last week of this transfer! I cannot believe how fast time is going by! Tomorrow is my 6 MONTH mark!! WHAT!!!! I know I am 1/3 of the way done my mission! Where is the time going! It makes me want to buckle down and keep working harder! OH YA!!!! Okay so the other night we were walking back to our pench and we were about 2 houses down and the man on a scooter (we call them motos) drove by with his helmet up. He drove by us really really slow and was just staring at us. I just felt disgusting that he could just look at us like that and me do nothing! So what did I do I said QUE! Which means WHAT! ya.........bad idea....so he turns around on his scoot and drives by us again and Hermana Gutierrez is freaking out and she sees his hand in his coat and thought he was going to rob us. So Then he keeps staring at us and Hna. Gutierrez just was like have a good night!! We kept walking and he drove off. I was like SOORYYYYYYY!!! She was okay she really thought he was going to rob us but she said she almost said something too. I will be more careful next time dont worry. Ya so this week has been good and of course we always have days where its just like why!!!! But hey we dont learn how to be better without hard experiences. I am learning that more and more here on the mission. The things that seem the hardest are most of the time the things or times where we learn the most. So dont shy away from experiences like that. Tackle them head on and go to the Lord when you feel like you dont have enough. Sounds like Scotty is doing good! Good to hear. We are hoping for some baptisms this week! I would love to hear about scotts book of mormon challenge. We are actually on one right now too. We are reading the book of mormon in the time Joseph Smith translated it! 66 days I think! This will be the second time I have finished the BOM. I started it when I got here in Argentina finished it just as we started this new challenge and I am halfway through again. I love the scriptures. The Book of Mormon is so powerful. I understand more and more the power behind it each day I read it. I always find something new and something exciting with every new page I turn!! Have a wonderful week! Dont forget the power of your examples to people. We took upon ourselves the name of Christ when we were baptized lets make sure we are living up to that name in everything we do.
Love you all!

Did you like my southern accent in the subject? hahaha So this week has been great. REally nothing too exciting! I mean there is always crazy exciting things but nothing like good enough like the beast in my first apartment.  I feel like I just was talking to you all on skype the other day so I feel like i have nothing to write this week. We are getting moved into a new apartment because ours has a ton of mold and sickness in it which is definatly not our fault. I repeat it is not our fault. We actually do clean. But yeah I really love the mission. I learn somthing new everyday! This is like the worst email ever but I know because you love me so much you will look past it and see that it is actually one of the best emails ever. The work is good and we are still dominating the south!

Hey fam.
So that was fun calling home. Good to see everyone still is alive and doing well. I forgot to ask and this is going to sound gay but I need a picture of the family... well aparently I am like the only missionary in the mission without one. Well at least thats what my comp said. I just never saw the need to take one and since I saw you all yesterday I dont see the point of having one but if you want to send one with the 2 canadian flags. Umm yeah I dont know what else to write today.. 2 days ago I almost stepped on a lizard walking down some stairs. They like the sun... (That is a true story.) Here is a few pictures from the baptism!! Love ya all! Keep it real!

Hey Family!!

It was so good to hear from some of you yesterday!! I was actually able to talk to Scotty a little bit too. He called Hilary and David on another line while I was talking to them and they put the phones together and we talked a little bit. Its always good to hear the voices of your family. So this week has been pretty crazy! We had some great things happen we were able to teach some of our investigators and get them progressing on towards baptism. I am really really really hoping we get some this next weekend....we will see. So we were walking in the street this week back from a lunch apt. and we passed this place I dont even know what it is but a bunch of men were working there and they were like whistling and asking for our number. Then this man came out and was like hey he wants your number!! I was like sorry no thanks! hahaha. So that was kinda funny! It funny we have seen some great miracles this week. I have really learned to have trust in the Lord. Especially when fasting. Some times we fast for something and when it doesnt come in the time we think it will we imediately loose our faith and think. AHH God didnt answer my prayer!! But always if we just have faith and trust in God and miracle comes sometimes not in the way we think but it always does. So this week overall has been pretty good! I cant believe how fast time is going by here it seems like just yesterday I got here and all of a sudden next week I am out six months!! 1/3 of my mission! WOAH! Its actually pretty cool sometimes when I am talking in Spanish with my companion or with people in general and I am listening to what they say I sometimes dont realize that we are speaking spanish. Especially with my companion. Sometimes I am like wait did you just say that in English or Spanish or I wont remember if I spoke English or Spanish. Because I am able to understand exactly what they say! Haha its so funny..Definately a blessing. Its crazy how many miracles we see here in the mission. Being able to speak and understand the little Spanish I can is a miracle...So thank you to all those who are praying for me and my little brother and for all the missionaries. We feel it!
Now for today. You will never believe what we did today for P-Day. We got a call from our district leader who said "Okay Hermanas you need to come to Pocito (their area) tommorow and wear clothes that you can get dirty okay? We are like okay what are we doing? He is like you will see!" So we were a little nervous because sometimes the elders plan crazy things. Well once again we were right. We show up and then Elders are all gathered around this potato sack and we are like hmmmm okay....so we go over and look in and what do we see! They have a pig!!!!! So what did we do? We greased up the pig with oil and lard and we had a pig chase!! So funny!!! Okay so I was really freaked out to touch the pig but finally I caught it and picked it up to the elders delight because they all called me a chicken and told me I was raising up the Canadian White Flag....I couldnt let my country down or my dignity so I had to do it. It was really funny. Anyways it was a good day and we are looking forward to this next week. We have lots to do!
Love you all!!

Hey Family!
This week has been so awesome! Elder Reese and I got food poisoning!! Cool eh!? We are pretty sure it was from the tongue tacos we ate. Saturday night we were feeling super sick and then we just started throwing up all night. We go to bed at 10 30, and lets just say I didn't go to bed till 5 30, well that was the last time I saw the clock. He would go in and throw up a ton, then I would co in a through up a ton. This went on for most of the night. To sum it all up I would say Its an awesome weightloss program. I lost 11 pounds in one night! :) Other than that we were able to watch the temple rededication and that was really cool. We have a baptism tomorrow which we are really excited for! I am in Austell GA right now. We weren't too close to any of the tornadoes I dont think, although it was really windy and whatnot. I dont really even know whats going on right now I think my mind is still recovering from loss of fluids. But yeah the work is good and I am still alive so yeah. I love you all.
Elder Anderson
Okay so last monday we went out in the evening to see some of our investigators. Remember the Flia. Martines with the 5 kids that we were teaching English to? Well......they are moving....SO SAD!!! Hermana Gutierrrez and I were like WHAT?!? Well the mom had a big fight with the boyfriend and so they are moving to be closer to her mom. So we were gutted because we really really wanted them to be baptized!! So sad! So Andrea the oldest she is 13. She gave me her bracelet (with a saint on it which I dont wear dont worry) and her ring to Hermana Gutierrez. We gave each of them a big hug and it was so hard to say goodbye! So we have this man that we always pass in the night walking back to our pench. He works at the Super Vea (a groccery store) So we always invite him to come to church or to listen to us and he is always just like ok ok. So we walk past him now and he gives us the Argentine buddy shake hahah and then point to the sky or puts his arms to the sky as a salute to God. We laugh soooo hard every night. It always makes me smile. To Tuesday we found this woman named Elia in ALB we helped her with her bags back to her house and then taught her. SHE IS GOLDEN!! She is looking for the truth and wants to find the true church of God. So we committed her to read and gave her a bunch of scriptures and to pray. We passed later in the week and she is reading and praying!! We are so exciting for her! She couldnt come to church this week but she wants to come next week so we are really excited! Then Wednesday we had conference! It was sooooo good! I love hearing President and Hermana Lindahl speak! The spirit was so strong and I was filled and excited to come back to San Juan and work! Please tell Grandma thanks for her 2 letters. I am going to try and write her tell her that I just have like no time and mail is expensive here so give me some time. Thursday we ate with this woman who lived in Canada for like 8 years (Toronto) so I was pretty excited! We had steak sooooo good and raw veggies with dip. Now I thought eating raw veggies was normal...its not. They dont do that here. So my comp. was like what?! I remember our first transfer together I bought some carrots and was eating them raw and she said the same thing. What are you doing?! I was like what do you mean?! So needless to say she really liked it! Haha so funny. Some things we think are normal are so different in other countries and cultures. Also we had this eggplant that was dipped in egg and bread crumbs and fried. So yummy. I think it was the first time I have tried eggplant! I really liked it! So Friday we ate with the flia. Polo we live behind them they own the pench they are so nice. Hno. Polo is really deaf so talking to him is sometimes a challenge. I was walking with Hilary´s boots from england and now I have some great blisters! Oh yeah! Love the mish! Also today I taught a lady through her gate but I pretty much taught everything. I was so happy after because I was able to understand so much and I feel the lord blessing me so much! Now to Saturday. So we woke up really early and did service for a club with all the stakes in San Juan and all the missionaries. It was really cool and lots of fun. Hna. Gutierrez and I spent like 2 hours sweeping this sidewalk thing and my hands were so sore after. They gave us some semitas! They were sooooo good. I love them. But oh my word it was so cold this morning. Like see your breath cold! We were freezing!!! So this afternoon in the night we found this family and they were soooo good!! We went to see Brian set his Fetcha for the 8th. He is going to stop smoking this week so he can be baptized! So then we went like 6 house down from his and found this family like I said above. This grandpa and his granddaughter and her friend. They were so great and listening so attentively. So then we invited them to church and they were like sure!! We were like okay so we are passing for Brian at 8:30 and so we will pass for you too and just to add the blessings they know Brian and are good friends!! So the next morning (Sunday) we stopped at the bus stop and were waiting there and we waited and waited and waited and no bus then this man came and was like oh no buses are working today! Its the workers day today!! We were like what?!?!?! So I checked my bag and had like 40 pesos. So we called a taxi (its 8:20 at this point) and we go to the North. So as we are pulling up to Brians house in the Taxi what do we see! BRIAN WAITING OUTSIDE!!!! The first time he was ready and waiting! We were so excited! So we called a member to come pick up Brian and we walked to the girls house to get them. And to our surprise they have a friend that wants to come too! We were like YES!!!! So then we were waiting for a taxi after we got the girls and there were none coming and so me and Hermana Gutierrez both were praying and a taxi passed! NO LIE!! We were like oh my word oh my word! This is the kind of stuff that happens when you fast! God blesses us with miracles! So we all got to the church good and the girls were really comfortable in the church and they really liked it! The fast and testimony meeting was so good and the spirit was so strong! So we are excited because now we can go and teach their families!!!
I tell you miracles!!!!!! So needless to say it was a great week. But it wasnt without its tough times. We always have tough times and then great ones. Today we went bowling with the zone!!!! So fun!! Our zone has really grown a lot closer and we are happy because this really helps in the work and in our goals and missionaries when we have unity. I am glad to hear Scott is ok! I didn´t even know there were tornadoes in Atlanta! Crazy. We have been really been counselled a lot to have stuff prepared for earthquakes as we live in an area that has a lot. I don´t know when the last one was so its hard to say it we will have one soon or not when I am here. Who knows. The last days are here though and that is the importance of always being prepared...in everything. Every area of our lives. Spiritually especially. Well I think that is all from me this week. The next time you hear from me will be on the phone!! I think we get to email you this week some time with the times for Sunday. So mom make sure you check you emails a lot Saturday and Sunday. Anyways good to hear Luke is going into the MTC he will be great! Say thanks to Karen for the letter. I really would love to email back but I cant. I am trying to be more obedient so I can qualify for the blessings.
Love you all!
