Hey guys!
So I bet your wondering why my subject said coolest week ever right? Well let me tell you.. I found a giant 3 leaf clover this week.. I talked to some people about my irish heritage.. It was St. Patricks Day last week..  how is that not cool? No but anyways things have been really interesting here lately.. I feel like down here where I am serving there is a ton of segregation still.. hahaha isnt that intense? All the time black people just look at me like I am a walking disease or just are super rude to us.. its so funny. hahahaha I dont know if its because I am white or because people just hate mormons here. hahaha the other day we were tracting and this lady was like hey do you want a beer? and I was like no mam we dont drink alcohal and it was so funny then she preceded to ask if I wanted to smoke dope with her.. hahaha lets just say some people are wierd.. hahaha then we ran into this group of black kids for the second time and they asked us a bunch of wierd questions... They were like well we heard you guys go around saying nice things and then they teach you completely different stuff at your church ahahahah I pretty much just looked at the kid and was like do you really buy that? Thats so ridiculous! hahaha it was funny. but yeah other than that we are just trying to find more hispanics.. hahaha Yesterday we had a cool dinner apointment where this guy told us all these crazy stories about him and showed us all his guns and he was telling us a story about when he was in Washington and then out of no where he was like quote" Satan appeared to me... twice.." I started laughing and he just looked at me like he wasnt kidding in the least bit so I was like are you serious?! hahaha and he looked at me and was like yeah. He did. he wanted me to take the lords name in vain and I told him to get behind me. I just fought through the urge to laugh and was I had a look on my face like oh my gosh what just happend.. hahaha it was so funny.. The wierdest thing is I think I believe him.. He is super funny and a super strong member.. I am just glad we have the priesthood authority to act in Gods name. There is some wierd stuff down here I am not going to lie.. Anyways I love you guys!! Keep praying for us!! We are loving it!

HEY Family!!!

Well this week has been a good one getting into a schedule and trying to
get a good grove going with my new comp. We are working well together and I
can´t believe how different it is training a latin. Its definitely a very
different experience. We have had some good lessons this week and found
some good news. I have been trying to get a more organized study program
going on for myself and I feel like the Lord is helping me and showing me
how to be organized. I really love how the lord is blessing me. I think its
such a great experience being a trainer in the last months of the mission
because it helps you get more focused and get back to the basics. I love
that. I feel like its something we all lack sometimes. So I had some great
talks with Hermana Bedke this week and I am learning a ton and starting to
see how much the mission prepares you for life....I sometimes feel like
life before the mission was just a dream. That my real life is here in the
mission. So apparently there was an earthquake in Chile where my comp. is
from and it was like a 6.6ish and Hermana Bedke and Navarro felt it. We
were walking in the street so we didn´t feel anything. We have this one
investigator that is progressing really well and he wants to be baptized on
the 7th of April so we are trying to get him prepared for that. I am sooooo
excited for Conference this weekend. I seriously get more excited for
Conference than for any other thing in the mission. I cannot believe how
fast it has come again. I am making a goal and it is also a goal that we
have extended to many investigators and menos activos and conversos
recientes, to write down a list of questions or concerns etc. and take it
to conference and watch how the Lord answers our prayers through the
prophet and the apostles. I am excited to recieve more personal revelation.
I had to laugh to hear Scotts´s experience in Atlanta in the South where he
gets so much racisms and down here being of a different race or country
brings such a different reaction from the people. Some good reactions and
others not wanted. Mostly from men and young boys. I feel like a celebrity
some times down here and it just makes me laugh. So today for P-Day we
played in the church with the elders but we had to go find a ball at a
members house and so me and my comp. ran down there and there was like 3
dogs outside the house that almost bit my face off! She ran behind me
because she is deathly terrified of Dogs and I was just like seriously
Dogs!!! This is the third time in like a month I swear! Luckily nothing
happened because I stood my ground and the dog walked away finally but for
real its a miracle that I haven´t been bitten by now. But thats the perks
of being on the Lords team. He always has your back!

I love you all!

Haha did you like my subject? I really say that a bit now.. its a wierd southern thing.. haha anyways this week has been great!! First off its been getting so hot down here. Its has been from 85-90 degrees. So hot!! (For March) Hopefully I dont die in July and August.. This week though we have had alot of opposition yet for some reason I seriously feel so happy. Pretty much all of our investigators have had something happen where we couldn't meet with them that much this week. One of our most promising investigators are really struggling right now because their son was feeling really sick so we gave him a blessing and just promised him it would be a learning experience for the whole family and whatnot and then the next thing we know we got a text from the mom and he was in the hospital having a heart attack.. He is 7... Crazy eh?! So we have been praying and fasting for him this week. The gospel is true.. thats all I can say.. I am seeing how true this work is every day. We also got threatend to get arrested by this crazy white guy in this run down trailer park because we were "religious" The first thing he said when he answered the door was if you are all religious you can get arrested for being here. hahahaha it was super funny. I just smiled and said I am sorry sir I didnt know. We hope you have a great day! hahaha I love these people. Most of them though are super awesome. Thats one thing I love about the south is that everyone has such a strong belief in the gospel. One thing I really like is how important the sabbath day is down here. I am getting to see more of the southern baptist side of people now because here in Warner Robins its mainly white people. Before I was just talking to hispanics all day. I love it though. Other than that I dont have too much knews.. I was made district leader a few weeks ago. I did forget to tell you about that.. Its cool I get to learn more about how to help missionaries and serve them and that is my favorite thing to do out here so I love it. Anyways I hope everything is going good! I love you all!!

HOLA FAMILIA!!

Well I am a mother again. My new companion is Hermana Medina she is
from Chile and is great. I am living right next to the pench with
Hermana Bedke and her new comp. Hermana Navarro. She is from Chile
too. Anyways its been a hectic week. I have been in charge of
splitting our area and we have been organizing the area book splitting
up all the information into two books. A BIG job. But I feel lots
better now. I think I have gained a strong testimony of the word
organization.....I understand now why the Lord says in the D&C that
the house of God is a house of order. So we are working with 2
investigators and they are progressing really well. We have a goal to
find a lot more new people to teach this week. Dad I really liked the
adivice and ideas you gave in your letter. I will try to implement
some of those things this week. So training a Latina is such a
different experience than training a gringa. THEY CAN SPEAK THE
LANGUAGE! haha. No but its really strange. I like it so no worries
there. Its definitely a lot more easy..but I guess there are there
specific challenges in everything. Anyways as for news for this week.
Hermana Haskell left and it was sad to see her go. We became good
friends after 3 months together and learned and progressed so much.
But I know we needed a change to continue learning and progressing. So
a big thing that happened this week is that I received a new name tag
thing with a magnet on the back!!! These new placks are incredible! I
am pretty sure Hilary and Lindsay used them on their mission but we
just got them down here and I am loving it! haha. The simple things
that make us happy right....Anyways not much else to report just a
stressful week and this week is going to be amazing full of miracles
and everything. So just wait till you hear all about the adventures
from MAIPÚ!!
P.S. I am glad that Scott is consistent on letting me know how much
time I have left in the mission......he tells me every week......I am
going to beat him up.
LOVE YOU ALL!!!!

Hey guys!! so guess what? I finally got transfered out of Marietta..
and I am in Warner Robbins.. super far south hahahaha its pretty sweet
down heer though.. Its alot different because there isn't a branch and
so we are trying to get one started..  Its intense.. Its warming up
really nice though.. the other day it was above 75 degrees... I dont
know what that is in Celcious anymore.. oh I just remembered one of my
highlites this week was that I ate a whole loaf of bread in one
night..... dont worry mom it was whole wheat so thats a bonus.. hahaha
we had like 3 or 4 loafs and the expiration date was that day so I
decided to save the bread so I just ate it all.. I even plugged the
toaster into my lamp on my study desk and made toast whilst studying
the scriptures.. hahaha also I am reading the Bible right now and the
old testament is messed up.. there is alot of wierd stuff that
happens.. right now I am reading about Joseph in Eygypt and its
awesome.. I love iit.. I always am thinking of the movie that we have
with donny osmond.. hahaha anyways.. keep killing those gophers and
before you know it I will be back for the next season.. 8 months left
crazy eh!?!! hahahaha bye!

So yes I am still alive.. The tornadoes haven't killed me...... yet.. just kidding. hahahaha No but the other day we had severe tornado warnings here in cobb county and me being a knowledgeable windperson went outside and filmed the lightning. It was pretty cool! Dont worry mom it wasn't even windy. The sirens and everything we blaring pretty loud but yeah I wasn't too nervous. Pretty much I just want to see a tornado before I leave here. Is that too much to ask? anyways.. this week was sweet because I got to baptize 2 people! One was someone we have been teaching and the other was a 8 year old girl that asked me to baptize her. I am pretty sure she likes me alot (in a friend sort of way.. shes 8) because everytime we go over to eat lunch with the family I just talk to her about pokemon because she loves them. I am pretty sure I have convinced her that pokemon exist... hahahahaha I love the kids here. They are so funny! Everytime I go to the church or see them at their houses I just hear screams or ANDERSON!!!!  Usually they are either running toward me to hug my legs or running to hide because I always mess with them. hahaha  its super funny. I cant wait to see all the nieces and nephews again.. Pretty sure I will be the favorite uncle in the family. So when I get back free slurpies for everyone in the family under the age of 10! hahahaha Anwyas back to missionary work. I am pretty sure I am going to get transfered here on wednesday. We get transfer calls tonight and since I have been here for 10 months I am pretty sure I am leaving. 10 months!! Crazy eh!? here some pictures of the baptisms we had! Sadly we didn't get a picture with steven where one of us didn't have our eyes closed.. :(
HEY FAMILY!!!

I have some new news! We just got transfer news this morning and well
this is the news......drumrollllllllllll.....I am staying in Maipú
again annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd TRAINING!!!! AGAIN!!! This is my third time
and so I think I will be here till I finish the mission. To top it all
off I am training a Latin!!! So Wednesday morning I go to the offices
to pick her up. Its sweet because Hermana Bedke the first one I
trained is coming here as well and we are opening a new area for
Hermanas here and she is training too!! So I will get to see my
daughter train and get to know my granddaughter in the mission!!!! So
sweet! So I am nervous and excited all at the same time. I am sure the
Lord has some big things for me to learn these last 2
transfers.....and I am excited to see what the Lord has in store for
me. So this week has been pretty interesting! Haha. There was this day
that we went to see one of our investigators and after we left we were
walking down the street and we walked past this truck and there had to
be at least 10 guys all standing around it and as soon as we started
walking past they just started cheering really loud everyone and it
was just so funny! We felt like super stars!!! I was like geeeeez now
I know what famous people feel like! haha. Anyways and then we also
had a couple of guys ask for our phone number this week and tell them
they love us etc. I just laugh at how these people have no shame! So
we just ignore them all and walk away. This has happened my whole
mission but this last week it was just particularily funny so I
thought I would just share that with you. We got this great reference
from Godoy Cruz and it was great we are teaching him now and he will
hopefully be baptized in April.....so weird to think that its almost
April but it makes me excited to think that conference is just around
the corner and I just can´t wait to listen! So we have been getting
dropped by like all of our investigators for no reason at all and we
were getting pretty down but we are just doing a lot of finding at the
moment just trying to get things moving...so pray for us that we will
find those ready to hear the gospel. So something else funny this week
is that we went to this house of this family that is menos activo and
we were standing there and were thinking it looked kinda funny that it
didn´t look the same but we went and knocked anyways and right after I
knocked the door Hermana Haskell looks at me and says this isn´t there
house and I look up that the numeration and their name wasn´t
there.....I just said yep...and this lady opened the door right at
that moment and I just was like HEY We are missionaries from
the........and we invited her to listen to us. She gave us this big
excuse and told us to come back some other time. We left and we just
laughed forever because it was just so funny. Something else we did
fun this week was have a FHE with a member family and their non-member
cousin...he is like 8 or 9 anyways we taught them how to make banana
pancakes an it was sooooo good. They turned out great and they all
loved them and then we taught everyone the Ten Commandments with all
the signs to remember them. It was a fun activity and they all really
enjoyed it. All the little kids came up to us on Sunday at church and
were telling us all about how they were talking about the ten
commandments the other day etc. It was really cool to see the fruits
of our labors and that they actually listened. Also they had loaned
out the church this week so the city could do some social work for the
handicapped people and it was really cool. We got a call Friday to go
and give out Books of Mormon and pamphlets and we went there and they
had some big official people from the city and province etc. So we
were able to present them all with those and I think that we may or
may not have been on the local news here for it. So I am officaly
famous! haha. Just kidding. So its been a crazy week with just trying
to find new investigators and help our other investigators progress or
pass for them to teach them and not being able to get ahold of
anyone!. Its so frustrating! But we just have to be patient and try to
do our best. We also taught a lesbian this week that was interesting
but really cool. She just starting telling us all about this stuff and
told her that we believe we have divine gender and that we have the
purpose of creating children to complete Gods plan and she liked that
so we are going to go back and try to get her started reading the Book
of Mormon. Its so strange this time in the mission. I feel like there
are so many things that I need to be doing and achieving but that I
need to just focus on the simple things like Charity, Faith, and
listening to the spirit. I was studying about Faith an Hope this week
and recieved a lot of personal revelation of things that I have been
praying for the last few weeks. So that was really good. I really love
the scriptures and I really want to get myself even more into them. I
have a goal this week to read a lot more and to try to apply
everything I learn during that day. Anyways there is this guy that we
always see in the street and he is just always on something I swear
and he is a little crazy. So today we were talking to him and got a
picture with him. He is so funny and he just makes me laugh so much!
So I will try to attach a photo here of us with him. Thats it for this
week so wait for next weeks update on my new comp an our crazy
adventures!!!!

Love you all!!!
